NuSOFT ProView is specialized software for the processing, analysis, and evaluation of gamma spectrometry data. It helps transform measured spectra into clear, actionable results, including radionuclide activities, air dose rates, and detection limits. The software is designed primarily for aerial radiation monitoring, emergency surveys, ground-based measurements, and the search for sources of ionizing radiation.

From Spectrum to Actionable Results

ProView uses information contained in the gamma spectrum to evaluate both natural and artificial radionuclides in the environment. The software supports the determination of mass and surface activities, air dose rates, and MDA/MSA values. Results can be linked to the geographic position of the measurement, making it easier to interpret data in a map-based context.

Proven Evaluation Methods

The software uses several independent calculation methods. It supports the advanced window method (WND), the least squares method (LSQ), and NN-LSQ using response matrices generated by Monte Carlo simulations. This allows users to select the most suitable evaluation method according to the type of measurement and the required output.

Ready for Aerial and Ground-Based Projects

NuSOFT ProView is a project-oriented software tool for 64-bit Windows systems. Each project includes the complete measurement configuration — from input data and detector system settings to calculation methods and output parameters. The software supports PEI, ERS, and ASCII input formats, enabling consistent processing of different data sets.

Advanced Processing and Visualization

The software includes energy calibration of spectra, modelling of aircraft and cosmic background, calculation of MDA/MSA according to Currie and ISO 11929, as well as tools for working with spectra, including waterfall display and deconvolution. Results can be displayed on a map, supporting fast orientation in the spatial distribution of measured values.
