Visit to NUVIA CZ

In the last week of April, we had the opportunity to visit our colleagues at NUVIA CZ at their plant in Třebíč, together with two staff members from the German Nuclear Technical Assistance Service (KHG) based in Karlsruhe. The focus of the visit was the inspection of an upgraded and retrofitted drone measurement system. Both the radio link and LTE communication impressed with their reliable performance—there are now no obstacles to flight operations using KHG’s dedicated LTE network.

During the subsequent plant tour, the KHG staff also took interest in other products that could further expand their already comprehensive portfolio of measurement technology for civil protection. Particular attention was given to a contamination monitor currently under development, featuring six NAI detectors. The drum measurement systems, equipped with extensive automation technology, also left a strong impression and sparked lively discussions and questions.
