NuDET EGM-FLEX
Portable Dose Rate Monitor
The NuDET EGM FLEX is a next generation autonomous gamma monitoring probe designed for accurate and continuous measurement of ambient dose equivalent rate. Equipped with two high performance Geiger Müller tubes (LND 71210 and LND 7149), the system delivers an exceptionally wide measuring range of 50 nSv/h to 2 Sv/h, making it suitable for routine environmental monitoring as well as demanding radiological safety applications.
Built for long term outdoor deployment, the probe features a robust housing with IP66 protection, ensuring resistance to harsh environmental conditions. Integrated LTE/GPRS communication enables fully autonomous data transmission at defined intervals, while an optional Ethernet interface expands connectivity options for fixed installations. With a minimum autonomous battery operation time of 100 hours, the probe provides reliable performance even in remote locations.
The device automatically selects the optimal GM tube based on the current dose rate and includes a protective shutdown mechanism to prevent damage to the more sensitive detector during elevated radiation levels. Integrated GPS ensures precise time synchronization and accurate geolocation of measurements.
